Day 1: Reykjavik

Fly into the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik, you will be transferred to Scenic Eclipse, to begin your Icelandic immersion.

Day 2: Snaefellsnes Peninsula

Sparkling fjords, dramatic volcanic peaks, sheer sea cliffs and vast lava flows beckon as we cruise in and around the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. See vast concentrations of bird species nesting on the treacherous Látrabjarg cliffs and marine life in the waters of the Peninsula.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Isafjördur > Hornstrandir

Located within the incredibly stunning landscapes of the Westfjords is the small town of Isafjordur.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Grimsey Island (Arctic Circle)

Day 5: Akureyri

This evening, cruise into the harbour of Akureyri and admire the views of the brightly coloured houses with the backdrop of snow-capped mountains and the sultry hues of the Arctic summer evening.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Husavík

Nestled on the edge of Shaky Bay, the town of Husavík is one of the best locations in Iceland to see multiple species of whales.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7: Seydisfjördur

We dock right in the heart of this charming town settled by wealthy Norwegian fishermen, allowing free time for you to explore at leisure.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 8: Westman Islands > Thorlakshofn

This small archipelago was born from geological volatility and is home to vast species of birdlife, including nesting puffins each summer. Heimaey was the site of the eruption of the Eldfell volcano in 1973 that covered most of the island with volcanic ash.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 9: Thorlakshofn

Named after Saint Thorlak, who was bishop at Skálholt, this town on the southern coast of Iceland is home to the only harbour on Iceland’s southern coastline.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 10: Reykjavik

Your cruise ends this morning as you say farewell to your crew. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight homeward.Meals included: Breakfast
